Develop Skilled Leaders

Great leaders are the foundation of great workplaces. Leadership skills are increasingly important and organizations are recognizing the need to have a structured approach to leadership development to ensure consistency of organization philosophy and values.

Within Know Better Place, initial efforts under this pillar include the development and implementation of a Leadership Brown Bag series, a learning opportunity for our Health Center leaders to network with and learn from their peers in an informal setting. They also include the development of a Leadership Institute, currently in the planning stages with our counterparts on the Storrs campus.
